Community briefing by Elizabeth Harris-Sawczenko OBE on Kairos II and its implications for Christian/Jewish relations
Liz Harris-Sawczenko OBE (an expert in inter-faith relations and a member of MHS) wrote a recent article about the Kairos II document that was presented by Archbishop Sarah Mullaly to Synod last week
Some of our members (and others) are concerned about the contents of the document and have expressed interest in a briefing on this issue and how they can make their reservations heard. Liz will be giving us this briefing, on Zoom only, at 8.00pm on Sunday 26 July – please email Rabbi Michael for Zoom link details.
To give more background, Liz has provided links to documents below which, while you may not wish to read everything, may be helpful towards your understanding of the briefing and any discussion that may follow.
