The Women’s Book Group is for women who love to share their thoughts on a good read. We meet about every 6 weeks, usually on a Thursday afternoon in each others homes. Our reading list is very varied, from classics to the latest prize winners, and we choose books together so that all tastes are catered for. We also do try to include some recommended books with Jewish themes or authors.
Books we’ve read recently have included:

- Tell Me Everything by Elizabeth Strout
- The Safekeep by Yael Van Der Wouden
- The Flight of the Maidens by Jane Gardam
- Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon
- Leonard and Hungry Paul by Ronan Hession
Our discussions are lively, fun and informal, and of course if you didn’t like/read the book, there’s always coffee and cake to round things off!
