Gardening Club

Since the building works were completed, we have successfully planted a number of troughs, beds and planters in the open areas at the front and side of the synagogue building, adding natural beauty, life and growth to our faith. Our gardens so far include a fruiting vine, a fig tree, shrubs, herbs, a raspberry cane, two dwarf nectarines and some small lavender bushes, camellias and jasmine, and we hope to add to them in the future.

Caring for and adding to these lovely plants is a joy and we welcome new members – whether or not you have green fingers and gardening knowledge. We meet every 2-3 weeks over the summer on a Sunday morning to pull up the weeds, feed, water and plan for the next planting season .
