Shabbat Kiddush

Shabbat Kiddush at Muswell Hill

Every Shabbat after our synagogue service we meet to chat over a kiddush that ranges from a few crisps and biscuits to tables heaving with smoked salmon on bridge rolls and schmaltz herring with kichel, humus, crudités, cakes and whisky. On special occasions, we stretch to hot cholent – with a meaty and vegetarian option.

To maintain the quality and generosity of our kiddush table, we rely on contributions, which are managed by our very own Andy Margolis. He says,

“Muswell Hill Shul has been an important part of my weekly life since my children were young. The essence for me is being part of a community. A community of people who know each other, look out for each other, share in celebrations and also support each other in the challenges and sad times of life.

The Shabbat morning kiddush is a unique time and place to catch up with shul friends. but we can only do this with your financial support. Please contact me directly for any further information or donate to the ‘Kiddush Fund’ via the Shul office; any donation however large or small will be very gratefully received and will help sustain our community.”
