Our Vision
At Muswell Hill Synagogue, women play an active, visible, and valued role in every part of community life.
Muswell Hill Women is about connection, learning, and belonging — creating spaces where women and girls can explore Jewish life in meaningful, spiritual, and creative ways.
Our vision is a community where every woman feels seen, supported, and inspired to share her voice.
Learning & Leadership
Women at Muswell Hill are central to our community’s vibrant intellectual and spiritual life. We encourage women and girls to lead learning, deliver Divrei Torah, and develop confidence in Jewish study and public speaking. All activities are supported by the Rabbi, Rebbetzin and Women’s Officer.
From bat mitzvah girls to community leaders, women contribute in a variety of ways, such as education, welfare, social action, interfaith initiatives, and the running of children’s programmes and events.
We use the term “women and girls” inclusively, recognising the diversity of those who connect with women’s spaces.
