Women’s voices are an integral part of our prayer life.
On Shabbat mornings, women regularly read the Prayer for the Royal Family, and girls under 11 are invited to sing Anim Zemirot (accompanied by a boy). Women also deliver sermons on Shabbat and share explanatory Divrei Torah (insights of Torah) on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
We host our own Women’s Megillah Reading on Purim and Women’s Hakafot on Simchat Torah, creating joyful opportunities for learning, prayer, and celebration.
From time to time, we hold Women’s Services in the Beit HaMidrash (Small Shul), run by and for women. These services include selected parts of Shacharit and Mussaf, leyning from a Chumash, and sometimes a short discussion before rejoining the main service.
Bat Mitzvot
Bat Mitzvah girls often choose to celebrate with a women’s service, supported by their family and friends. The Women’s Officer and Rebbetzin are delighted to assist families in preparing for this meaningful milestone.
