As you will have seen from Daniel’s message, Beth Franks has needed to resign for personal reasons. This is unfortunate, as with her assistance, we have been able to run excellent events with fancy flyers that enrich our community and cater to our diverse interests.
However, there is always a silver lining…. This creates an opportunity for YOU to become more involved. Have you ever wondered how that magic happens? Would you like to work more closely with the Rabbinic and Lay Leadership teams? Are there things that you would like to change or improve in your shul? NOW is YOUR chance to step up and make it happen. We are recruiting VOLUNTEERS for the following roles:
1. Chanukah event planning and implementation – URGENT
2. Other event planning and implementation
3. Completing and submitting Funding applications for the Office of the Chief Rabbi to fund the above events
4. Marketing the events
It would be fabulous to have a committed group of people so that we can continue to provide as much as possible for everyone in the community. If you have an event or idea that you would like to bring to fruition, please be in touch.
